Students from my Studio
I aim to help my students become highly skilled and accomplished musicians through consistent daily practice and unwavering commitment. Each student receives a personalized practice journal designed to track their homework assignments and reflect meaningfully on their daily practice experiences. This journal not only encourages reflection but also fosters a sense of accountability in their overall learning journey. If a student consistently comes unprepared and shows a lack of commitment, I may recommend finding another teacher who better suits their learning needs. The video features a dedicated and committed student performing a lively and spirited Bach dance, which beautifully showcases their hard work and strong, solid grasp of the cello.
A knowledgable and dedicated teacher inspiring creativity and expression
I believe in teaching the essential fundamentals of technique to ensure that each student has a solid foundation, allowing them to focus more on expressing their musicality and creativity. In my cello lessons, I provide personalized advice on how to effectively overcome various challenges related to both the music itself and the instrument, while also offering detailed practice notes to guide the student towards success and improvement. I have received my bachelor's, master's, and post-master's degrees from reputable conservatories across North America, equipping me with the knowledge and experience required to assist students of all levels in their musical journey.
Many of my previous students have trained diligently and with great commitment for their pre-college and college auditions, ultimately achieving success in reaching their goals. As an educator, I have had the privilege of working with a variety of programs in the community, including schools like Palm Beach Public, U.B. Kinsey Elementary, Faith’s Place Center for Arts and Education, and the Palm Beach Atlantic Preparatory Department. I am a certified Suzuki cello teacher, and I have dedicated the past two decades to working with young, aspiring cellists, helping them develop their skills and grow as musicians.
